The 2021 Formula 1.5 season was the 72nd season of the Formula 1.5 World Championship. The season started at the 28th of March with the Bahrain Grand Prix and will end on 12th December with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.


Lando Norris is the 2021 Formula 1.5 Champion

Daniel Ricciardo is the defending champion. Lando Norris is won the drivers championship. Ferrari won the constructors championship with one round to go ahead of reigning champions McLaren.

The teams and drivers fielding the 2020 F1.5 grid were anounced after the Spanish Grand Prix. The roster remained unchanged from 2020, meaning the grid was made up of McLaren, Aston Martin, Alpine, Ferrari, AlphaTauri, Alfa Romeo, Haas, and Williams. Racing Point was rebranded in 2021 as Aston Martin, whilst Renault also rebranded to Alpine.

  1. The São Paulo Grand Prix is subject to the reinstatement of the contract between race organisers and the Formula One Group after it was suspended in January.
  2. Charles Leclerc set the fastest qualifying time, but did not start the race. Pole position was left vacant on the grid. Carlos Sainz, in the second slot, was the first driver on the grid. Leclerc is still considered to have held pole position.
